LaToya Young is the Executive Director of the Tyler Area Business Education Council; and serves as the Backbone Coordinator for the Tyler Area Partnership 4 Education and Intermediary for the Tyler Area Career Pathways Network.

She has a broad business and education background, working for the United States Department of Education, Northeast Texas Consortium of Colleges and Universities, Faulconer Scholarship Program and Enterprise Rent a Car. She is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University. She is a native of Tyler and actively involved with the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Tyler, East Texas Human Needs Network, Leadership Women and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. Lufkin/Nacogdoches Chapter.

She serves on the Board of Directors of Leadership Tyler, Better Business Bureau Serving Central East Texas, Women’s Fund of Smith County and SporTyler.
