My name is Karen Youngblood. I graduated from Texas Eastern School Of Nursing in 1978. I worked as a Staff Nurse/ Charge Nurse/Unit Manager on Telemetry at Mother Frances Hospital until 1994 then transferred to OutPatient Cath Unit. I started traveling with Mercy Works doing medical outreaches in 2001. I quit Mother Frances in 2005 & started with YWAM in 2006. I’ve been to 38 countries since I started working with MercyWorks. I take medical teams to places where there is little to no medical care.
