My name is Brian Thompson. I am currently the Administration Director for Sports Medicine, Sleep Medicine, and Health & Fitness for CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System. I grew up in Tyler, TX and attended Robert E. Lee High School. I moved on to Texas A&M University where I graduated in 2006 with a BS in Sport Management and a Minor in Business. After my time in College Station I worked as the Fitness Director for the Trinity Mother Frances Fitness Center in Canton, TX and then moved on to the Strength & Conditioning Director for SportsCARE USA. Then I moved to Hattiesburg, MS where I attended the University of Southern Miss and received my Master’s Degree in Sport Coaching while working as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for all Varsity Sports.
After graduation I moved to Orlando, FL where I became a Speed and Strength Coach for World Renowned Speed Coach Tom Shaw of Tom Shaw Performance. Then I decided to make a change and moved to Chicago, IL where I worked as a Strength & Conditioning Coach under World famous Strength Coach Charles Poliquin. During this time I had the opportunity to work with professional athletes from the Chicago Blackhawks, the Chicago Cubs, the Chicago White Sox, the Chicago Bulls, and the Chicago Bears. After six years in Illinois I was recruited back to Texas for my current position.
