Bryan Rossman

Principal; Director of Operations-Tyler

Bryan P. Rossman a Military Defense Contractor, Constructed many Buildings on the UT Tyler Campus between 1977 and 2015.

Principal in and Director of Operations-Tyler for Adams Engineering and Development Consultants, has been part of the leadership team at Adams for over 7 years, and is a valuable asset to the team because of his outstanding background in leadership, business operations, and development services. In addition to his operational duties, Bryan utilizes his vast experience in business development, construction administration, and owners’ representation to expand the scope of consulting and development services offered by Adams.

Bryan enjoyed a 36 year career in the Construction industry before joining Adams Engineering. He co-founded a mid-sized general contracting firm in 1981, which specialized in federal construction, primarily performing contracts for the Department of Defense across the Southern US from 1981 through mid-2011. His early career in the construction industry was spent as a carpenter in the 1970’s, learning the skill of building from masters in the industry. He worked his way up through the management and administrative ranks, and eventually owned controlling interest, to serve as CEO and Chairman of one of the region’s largest general contracting firms. The companies completed over a billion dollars in revenues in their multi-decade history. He also founded several small, specialty contracting firms which operated in the East Texas market. Bryan has worked with many developers and eventually owned, managed and operated a small real estate development company in Tyler, Texas.

Bryan currently leads a team of Civil, Environmental Engineers and Landscape Architects in the Tyler office for Adams Engineering. He also leads Development Services (program management) for both private market and public institutional clients. He has served institutional clients with project needs on several campuses at the University of Texas at Tyler, Christ Church Episcopal, and All Saints Episcopal School. Bryan provides clients with facilitation and management of all assigned projects, working through project planning, consultant selection, complete design coordination, (programming, schematic design development, design development, through Construction Documents), and physical construction. He manages review processes ensuring complete scope achievement within approved budgets and specific delivery schedules. His expertise and background in construction and development of campus facilities gives Adams clients the advantage of having an experienced developer/construction manager on their team working as an advocate for the owner in contract negotiation, proposal evaluations, and project development strategies. Bryan works directly with clients, administration, faculty, facility management staff, design team members, and Contractors to develop project programs, design, budgets, and schedules, for a complete horizontal and vertical project delivery solution.

Bryan has lectured at UT Tyler, Texas A&M College Station, and serves annually as an instructor at the Community Development Institute at Lone Star College. He earned his A.A.S. in Construction Technology at Texas State Technical Institute, and his E.F.M. at University of the South. He is a Past Member of the Development Board for The University of Texas at Tyler, The University of Texas Health Center at Tyler, and TSTI. He Served the Associated General Contractors of America as National Life Director since 2004, President of Dallas Chapter 1993,
