After responding to a radio ad by flipping an illegal U-turn and driving off the lot with a brand-new car 45-minutes later, Carleen had the epiphany that she was supposed to be in broadcasting. 29 years later, she is still doing what she loves every day¦ entertaining and informing people, serving the community, growing people’s businesses and helping grow people’s careers. She has worked in radio, television, digital marketing and live events in Tyler, Texas through the 1990’s; Fresno and Sacramento, California, through 2010; and currently serves as the Market President & Chief Revenue & Content Officer for Townsquare Media’s East Texas market operations, having been back in Tyler for the past twelve years. She loves dogs, cries at commercials, has completed a half marathon (she came in last, but she finished!) and believes that kindness and laughter are the most important languages that exist.
