My career has spanned 48 years as a local church pastor and residential care facility administrator.  I am a graduate of The University of Texas in Austin with two earned advanced degrees in theology and pastoral care from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.  My doctoral work focused on ministry to persons in crisis.  In 1997 I became the founding pastor of The Woods Baptist Church located on University Blvd near The University of Texas at Tyler campus.
