I grew up in Hughes Springs, Texas, and moved to Tyler to attend UT Tyler, where I obtained an undergrad and graduate degree. After graduating from UT Tyler, I went to work in the banking industry. I have worked for both community banks and large corporate banks and have experience in a variety of markets and industries within Texas and the surrounding states. Today, I work as the Chief Credit Officer of Texas Bank, a community bank headquartered in Henderson, Texas, with branches in East and North Texas. I am married to my wonderful wife, Sara Martin, and we have two pups, Winnie and Parker. During my free time, I enjoy exercising, playing guitar, and motorsports. I also volunteer within the Tyler community by serving as the Comptroller and Secretary of TYPN, the Team Retention Chairman of the Tyler Walk to End Alzheimer’s, and the President of Tyler Area AMBUCS.
