Derek Frazier has a BS in biology from UT Arlington, and a BA in art and an MA in English from UT Tyler. He has been a janitor, a zookeeper, a scientist, a consultant, a stormchaser, and a museum professional. Although he considers Fort Worth to be his hometown, he currently lives in East Texas where he spends his days obsessing on visual art and his nights listening to the raccoons living in his attic.
