Ebaristo Torres, born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, graduated from Chapel Hill High School in 1998. From there, he attended Stephen F Austin State University, where he received a Bachelor of Music. Upon returning to Tyler, he began working at D & N Grocery, a small business nestled in North Tyler. It is there where he began to learn the nature of being an entrepreneur. He is currently working on a second business set to open in the later part of 2020.
Currently, Ebaristo Torres spends his free time volunteering for local community Nonprofits. He is currently the President of the Hispanic Professionals Association of Tyler (HPAT), where he served as Treasurer for 2 years. He is also Vice-President of the PATH Board of Directors, serves on the Red Cross Board and East Texas Symphony Orchestra. For the past 3 years, he also served on the committee for the East Texas Leadership Summit, where he was Committee Chair for 2020.
