Hossein Hosseiny has more than 15 years of transportation engineering experience. He has served as Project Manager, Task Leader, and Project Engineer on a variety of transportation planning, design, and construction management projects for the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA), and local municipalities. His specific experience and responsibilities include feasibility studies, alternative route analysis, traffic studies, horizontal and vertical roadway design, cross section and 3D modeling, management of traffic and construction phasing plans, hydrology and hydraulic modeling, closed-system storm sewer design, cost estimation, and construction scheduling. Hossein has extensive experience with the public involvement process for various stages of projects, from feasibility and planning through detailed PS&E design and construction. He has proactively worked with federal, regional, and local agencies and stakeholders, technical committees, and the general public to effectively communicate project goals and gain consensus on the proposed design. Hossein is proficient in the use of various management and engineering software, including Bentley Microstation, Geopak, OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SignCAD, and ESRI’s ArcGIS.
