Jackie Cannon, M.Ed., executive director of Champions for children, is active in the community and is dedicated to sharing the mission of Champions with all of East Texas. During the year, she serves on various Chamber of Commerce committees, Leadership Team of Tyler Area Partners 4 Education, Secretary for the Association of United Way Agencies, and Board Officer of Association of Fundraising Professionals. Jackie seeks and accepts numerous speaking and service opportunities to build awareness for quality early education. Jackie cherishes her 26 years in public education and continues using this experience and training with children of all ages. Jackie especially enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and 4 grandchildren.
