Mr. Jamal Moharer received his Master of Business Administration from Letourneau University. He has an Airline Transport Pilot rating, flight instructor rating and is type-rated in a Citation Jet. Mr. Moharer serves as Chairman of the Board of NDMJ, Ltd Transportation and First Alt Fuel, Inc. which for the past 30 years has provided passenger and cargo transportation services in the east Texas area. First Alt Fuel, Inc. provides clean burning Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) transportation fuel for local and regional fleets. Mr. Moharer also served as the Chairman of the Regional Transportation Advisory Committee of East Texas Council of Government and the Smith County Transportation Advisory Committee. Jamal has also served Northeast Texas Regional Mobility Authority (NETRMA) Board of Directors overseeing the design, development and construction of Toll 49. Experience gleaned from his participation has uniquely positioned Mr. Moharer to give a voice to transportation needs of our citizens and transportation providers. He is committed to a coordinated approach to providing improved transportation services while being a good steward of transportation assets.

Other community involvement includes: Airport Advisory Board, Board of Directors of Tyler International School of Aviation, Board of Directors of the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce, Texas Workforce Commission, the Research and Development Council of the University of Texas Health Science Center, and Salvation Army Board of Directors.

Mr. Moharer and his wife, Marilyn, have 3 Aggie children and are members at Flint Baptist Church.
