James Eastman brings more than 25 years of Information Technology experience through a diverse set of industry settings. The latest 20 years of James’ experience have been in various technical positions at FedEx Services. Prior to FedEx, James was responsible for driving IT strategy and innovation for Chase Manhattan Bank in Houston, Texas, as well as a similar roles at Houston Lighting and Power in Houston and SCB Computer Technologies in Memphis, Tennessee. His foundation of technical expertise stems from a hands-on technical and leadership background along with project management and implementation experience. Through his career James has displayed leadership skills from within numerous functional areas of technology and business that include software engineering, security engineering, application development, database analysis and implementation, feasibility analysis, integration, and administration of business-critical systems. James holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Information Technology (BBA IT) from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. James also holds a Master of Business Administration from Long Island University in New York.
