John Beck

Women’s Center of East Texas

John is originally from Sulphur Springs, Texas.  He worked to pay his own way, eventually earning a Master’s Degree from Texas A&M University in Sports Management.  Beginning in 2010, during the Great Recession, John discovered his niche in Human Resources at a local bank.  A few years later, he focused more in the area of non-profit.  Currently at the Women’s Center of East Texas, John has been able to expand his operational role and is now Director of Operations.  In his 20 years of management experience and 10 years of HR experience, John has learned best practices, studied people, and is in never-ending learning curve of how to be a better servant leader.
