As Vice President of Sunbelt Equipment Marketing, Inc., John Fry III is responsible for brand development, new product innovation, and continuous improvement strategy, while maintaining a growing client portfolio which focuses on sales and rentals. Mr. Fry joined SEMI in 2004 in the role of business development and assumed the role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing shortly thereafter.  In 2018, Mr. Fry became Vice President of SEMI.

Sunbelt Equipment Marketing, Inc. is the leading provider of specialty heavy equipment for pipeline construction in North America. Specializing in rubber track crawler carriers customized for pipeline construction applications, SEMI has experienced remarkable growth over the last 15 years in revenue, profits, products and services, as well as the geographical footprint of the company.

Prior to joining SEMI, Mr. Fry led the business development efforts for Nichols Pipeline Services from 2003 until it sold to Weatherford International in 2006.  His time at NPS included account management for contractors and pipeline operators. Other responsibilities included project management, health and safety, operator qualification, and compliance.  Mr. Fry is one of the founders and President of Fry Equipment LLC.

Mr. Fry serves as the current President of the American Pipeline Contractors Association – Associate Membership, is a member of the Tyler ISD Foundation Board, and serves as President of YANET in addition to serving on other not-for-profit boards.

John Fry III holds an M.B.A. degree from SMU and a B.S. degree in Political Science from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX.
