Our speaker today, Kara Grace, is a Human Resource professional with 15 years of experience in the HR field, working solely in non-profit organizations right here in Tyler.

Currently she is the HR Manager at East Texas Lighthouse for the Blind and has been serving in this capacity for around 5 years.  Growing up in Tyler, and graduating from UT Tyler with a MS in HRD at the age of 22, she has a huge passion for her community and developing and connecting leaders within the organizations she gives her time to.

Currently, she is Past-President and founding board member of Rose City SHRM, President of Tyler ISD Council of PTAs, and Chair of the HR/Ed Committee for the City of Tyler Chamber of Commerce.
