Kara Grace Sharman is a Human Resource professional with 15 years of experience in the HR field, solely in non-profit organizations in Tyler, Texas. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Development as well as SHRM-CP, and PHR Certifications. During the course of her career she has volunteered with many community organizations including Immediate-President and founding board member of Rose City SHRM, Past President of Tyler ISD Council of PTAs, Chair of the HR/Ed Committee for the City of Tyler Chamber of Commerce.

Kara has a tremendous passion for her community and connecting and empowering leaders. Currently she works for East Texas Lighthouse for the Blind in Tyler, Texas as the HR Manager where she wears many hats from benefits administration, employee relations, disability rights advocate and more.
