Kari Kietzer

Executive Consultant

Kari Kietzer is an Executive Consultant who has been the CEO of a large non-profit, Meals on Wheels Ministry, Inc. She has developed, researched, and written anti-corruption curriculum and reports for the U.S. Military, NATO, and international NGOs. She is a talented program manager with many years experience in non-profit and for-profit venues. Kari’s consultations have taken her on international adventures and bring new cultural experiences to her life.

After obtaining her Masters in International Relations in 2011 at Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, she became an integral member of the program design team at the U.S. Army War College’s Peacekeeping and Stability Operations Institute in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. She played a key role in the creation of counter-corruption training courses for deploying military and civilian personnel to Afghanistan.

Shortly after this assignment, she was requested by the Combined Joint Interagency Task Force- Shafafiyat (CJIATF-Shafafiyat) Commander to serve as the Counter-Corruption Strategic Liaison and further counter-/anti-corruption curriculum development. During her time in Kabul, Afghanistan, she was hand selected to serve in CJIATF-Afghanistan. In this capacity, she was the initiator and conceptual designer of a three-pronged strategic study plan to influence U.S. and NATO doctrine and policy related to anti-corruption planning, operation and stabilization; and served as the International Security Assistance Force Commander’s project liaison. She and her team delivered the first NATO study examining the intersection of anticorruption and strategic operations while finding and researching the best practices and challenges for anti-corruption in post-conflict states.

Kari also spent many years at the University of Miami building and managing a portfolio of over 1,000 alumni with the accountability of soliciting more than $100k annually. Kari’s career has taken her from the U.S. Congress in Washington, DC, to the classroom as an English teacher in Cannes, France, to managing a $20 million dollar luxury yacht in the South of France. In her spare time, Kari serves as a Board Member for the Smith County Adult Protective Services. Kari joined Delta Gamma Fraternity’s Epsilon Rho Chapter at WMU and is an inaugural member of the national DG Alumnae Advisory Board. She is an avid traveler aiming to fill her passport with exotic stamps.
