Lance Williams

Dr. Williams is Professor and Chair of the Biology department.  He has been at UT Tyler since 2007.  Prior to that he was an Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University.  Dr. Williams grew up outside of Oklahoma City at completed a BS at University of Oklahoma, MS from Oklahoma State University, and a Ph.D. from Mississippi State University.  His area of research is aquatic biology with a specialization on how humans impact river systems.
