Environmental Health Manager
Our speaker Leisha Kidd-Brooks has been employed by the City of Longview for almost 14yrs as an Inspector initially and now the current manager.
She obtained her BS degree in Biology from Texas College and was also Miss Texas College during her educational tenure. She was named a Ronald McNair Scholar shortly after the astronaut was killed on the spacecraft. Her current appointment as President of the Texas Environmental Health Association is her most coveted title because her peers in the industry deemed her credible enough to shine a light on the profession and bring awareness to public health, not only on local and state levels but globally as well.
