Lloyd Irvin, P.E. is the Senior Vice President of Operations at Dashiell Corporation in Deer Park, Texas. He is a graduate of the University of Houston, where he earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. After graduation, he started as a field engineer for Dashiell learning about testing high voltage substations. After two years, Lloyd moved into project engineering designing the high voltage substations he learned about while working in the field. He received his professional engineers license in 1996. As a professional engineer he became an operations manager for the Field Services Division where he learned the business side of Dashiell. Soon afterward, his expanding expertise and management style allowed him to move into the position of director and the vice president. Today he manages over 175 field engineers and technicians for Dashiell Corporation. Lloyd has developed the Dashiell Field Services Division into one the most successful high voltage testing groups. He attributes his success to a one team management style. He has been married to his wife Casey for 25 years and has two sons. He enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, hunting and playing golf.
