Lon is a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) with mma, inc., a technology-focused design firm providing reliable civil engineering, land survey, landscape architecture, and planning services to clients across North Texas. Lon is responsible for field and office coordination and the supervision of land surveying projects throughout North Texas with City Community Development Departments, TXU and ONCOR Electric Service Companies, East Texas Electric Cooperatives, Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), US Army Corps of Engineers, the Oil and Gas industry and many other public and privately funded entities. Before becoming an RPLS in 2006, Lon’s surveying career began in 1980 in the nuclear powerplant construction field and moved into the land, utility, and community development industry where he continues today. Lon believes land surveying is an art as it allows us to use our creative skills and imagination in a professional capacity. Lon is the proud husband of 1, father of 2, and Pawpaw of 4 and friend to many! When Lon is not working, he enjoys playing drums, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
