Mark Soules is a proud alum of The University of Texas at Austin, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration. He currently serves as the co-CEO at John Soules Foods, a family-owned company in Tyler, TX, known for producing and distributing high-quality beef and chicken products to local retail, foodservice, restaurants, and school programs.
Mark joined John Soules Foods as their first Salesman in 1987. He is responsible for introducing Fajita meat into the product line and drove an increase in sales from $2.5 Million to $100 Million over the course of 17 years. By 2004, under Mark’s leadership in Sales & Marketing, John Soules Foods’ Fajita Meat became the #1 Best-Selling Fajitas in US retail stores. Today, Mark and his team have reached another milestone for the company, bringing in a half-billion dollars in sales.
Before joining John Soules Foods, Mark began his career in the Food Industry as a Broker in Austin. While earning his BBA degree, Mark worked in construction on offshore oil rigs and for Sears Automotive as an Assistant Service Technician, where he learned what he didn’t want to do for a living.
As a life-long Texan resident, Mark resides in Austin with his wife, Carren. Together they have three adult children Claire Soules, Grant Soules, and Jack Soules.
