I’ve just retired after 33 years in education. During those years I served students as a special education teacher, an assessment specialist, and as a counselor at elementary, middle and high school levels. I also worked at the district administration level as Director of Counseling Services for two school districts. I enjoyed my time with young children, but frankly, I’m one of those crazy people who love teenagers and enjoy helping families navigate these interesting years. My other professional passion is mentoring and providing professional development for counselors. I am married to Precious Dave Barbieri and we have one adult daughter who continues to be a joy to us.
