Ms. Naranjo began her career in education in 2004.  She used her volunteer experience with non-profit organizations during her college years in Sacramento, California to inspire her pursuit of public service. Ms. Naranjo has served public schools in Tyler ISD and Waco ISD in a variety of instructional and leadership roles in elementary school, middle school, high school, and district administration.  Her move into leadership roles began when she served as Director of Bilingual/ESL programs in 2012 with Tyler ISD. Since then, Ms. Naranjo has continued to support students, staff, and the community of Tyler. She is currently the Principal of Birdwell Dual Language Immersion School (PreK-8) serving students of Tyler and the surrounding area.
