Mitch Fortner
President/Chief Executive Officer
KSA Engineers, Inc.

After a successful career as a civil engineer designing and leading public infrastructure projects ranging from airport runways to wastewater lift stations, Mitch Fortner became the President of KSA Engineers on January 1, 2016. Leading a corporation with offices in nine cities through the pandemic and an industry-wide talent shortage during a time of unprecedented opportunity and economic growth has been one of the most rewarding experiences of his life.  Mitch grew up in Panola County, Texas and now makes his home on a small ranch near Hallsville, Texas.  His greatest joy is his family, including his wife Robin, four adult children, two sons-in-law, and two grandchildren.  He graduated from Texas A&M University with a BS in civil engineering and from LeTourneau University with a MBA.    As President and CEO of KSA, Mitch focuses much of his time on strategic planning and execution as well as recruiting, retention, and development of the staff so that KSA can truly live out its mission of “building people who build the future”.
