Gloria Bell holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from the University of Texas at Tyler. She has certifications in Elementary and Early Childhood Education.  She continued her studies at Texas A&M University at Texarkana where she received a Master of Education and a state certification in Education Administration. She also studied at Texas A&M University at Commerce where she obtained a Superintendent Certification.   Ms. Bell currently serves as the Coordinator of Family & Community Engagement for the Tyler ISD Title I Program (The Parent Center).  She has served in various capacities in Tyler ISD including Director of Head Start and Director of Federal Programs. Gloria has spent her career as an educator of children and families.    She has a passion for serving and teaching. Her current community service commitments include serving on the leadership team of the Smith County Food Security Council and serving on the board of the East Texas Human Needs Network (ETHNN). Gloria has also served on the boards of Mentoring Alliance and Parents Anonymous.  She also served on the leadership team of Tyler Area Partners for Education.
