Andrews Center: Treatment & Learning Center

Rachel graduated with her Bachelor’s in Psychology at UT Tyler in 2013. Rachel started her career in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) as a Classroom Trainer in January 2013 at the Andrews Center Autism Outreach program. While there, she primarily implemented parent training strategies related to ABA to those in the East Texas area in need. In March 2015, she started working for an in-home provider implementing ABA to the Tyler region for a couple of years and received her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction: Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State in May 2016. Eventually she returned back to where it all started, the Andrews Center, in October 2016 where she accepted a position as a program manager of the Comprehensive Program.  Shortly after, in November 2016, she achieved her board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) certification and a licensed behavior analyst. Besides her high interest in ABA and Autism, Rachel is also a volunteer for Autism on the Seas and is highly active in the Autism community of East Texas. She truly enjoys the opportunity to work with each child she encounters and hopes to make an impact on the special needs community of Tyler.
