Rawly Sanchez – Assistant Superintendent of Schools

Mr. Sanchez came to the District in 2015 after more than 15 years of educational leadership in the Dallas area. Sanchez served as Dallas ISD deputy chief of staff, principal at Dallas Can Academy-Ross Avenue, H. Grady Spruce High School and W.H. Adamson High School, assistant principal at Hillcrest High School, and teacher at Marsh Middle School. He began his educational career as a teacher at Waxahachie High School in Waxahachie, Texas. Mr. Sanchez has received various honors over his career including the Bank of America Local Hero Award, AHSA Principal of the Year Award, D Magazine Featured Principal and was a top ten finalist for “Texan of the Year” by the Dallas Morning News.

Mr. Sanchez earned a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas, a Master of Education Administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce and has completed doctoral coursework through The University of Texas at Austin.
