Rita King currently serves as Director of Human Resources for Lone Star Aerospace, Inc, also known as Lone Star Analysis, in Addison Texas. She grew up on a cattle farm in deep East Texas with four older brothers. So while her interests include sewing, reading, photography, international traveling, mountain driving (especially through Autumn colors), and piano playing, there’s enough latent tom-boy to also enjoy four-wheeling, plinking (target shooting), and operating heavy equipment (commercial trac-hoes, dump trucks, etc.) as well.

Rita has functioned in many roles throughout her life including ministry, teaching, hospitality, executive assistant, project management, profit analyst, day care franchise owner, six sigma green belt, customer service, office coordinator, production scheduler, purchasing agent, bookkeeping, payroll, and sales. Having returned to college after her grown children’s completion, in some ways Rita is still asking “what do I want to be when I grow up? Anything, just don’t make me be only one thing!”

Rita holds an Associates of Business Administration from Tyler Junior College and a Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Texas at Tyler, both Summe Cum Laude. She has sat on the Board of Directors for DallasHR, a SHRM (Society of Human Resource Management) “super-mega” chapter of 2000+ members. In addition to her HR role at Lone Star, she has also managed social media for the company, which uniquely qualified her to speak to an individual’s personal branding and social media footprint in relation to career and transition impact.
