Rob is a healthcare entrepreneur and educator with over 25 years’ experience in developing, managing, and assimilating health care companies. He is distinctly skilled in business development, change integration, and various business growth strategies. His first significant exit was a buy out in 2006 to a publicly traded entity. Rob is the founder and CEO of Advanta Genetics, a highly complex CLIA laboratory accredited by the College of American Pathologists specializing in infectious disease molecular testing and next generation sequencing technology.    Rob holds an MBA in healthcare administration and a PhD in human resource development from the University of Texas at Tyler. He is Graduate Research Faculty at the Soules College of Business and Adjunct Professor in the human resource development PhD program at the University of Texas at Tyler. Rob currently serves on the advisory board for the Stewardship Council for UT Tyler East Texas Entrepreneurship Center Blackstone Launchpad Group and the Hibbs Institute for Business & Economic Research, and is a former appointee to the National Brain Injury Interdisciplinary Special Interest Group. Recently, Rob was honored to be the recipient of the Soules College of Business “Graduate of the Decade” award.   Although Rob’s principal focus is in the healthcare business sector, in addition to his professorship, he frequently conducts research in the social sciences and natural sciences with many peer reviewed journal and book chapter publications in each discipline.
