I am Ronna Best. I work at the Christus Trinity Mother Frances Ross Breast Center as the Nurse Navigator. I’m a proud graduate of UT Tyler Nursing school in 1995 and a current Master’s student at UT Tyler for Nursing Education. I have lived and worked in Tyler for most of my life. My passion is breast cancer and being able to help patients understand the disease and thrive through diagnosis, treatment and survivorship.

In my 25 plus years of nursing, I have worked mostly in oncology; had a 7 year stent in Rheumatology (immunotherapy); but the last 10ish years have been with breast cancer and breast disease. I hold a national certification as a CBCN (Certified Breast Cancer Nurse) through the Oncology Nursing Society. My “other” nursing job is that of summer staff at Sky Ranch Christian camp where I get to work in one or all of the camp locations in Van, TX, Miami, OK, Westcliffe, CO, and Gunnison, CO.
