Suzi Stein

Suzi Stein was born in Boulder, Colorado and raised in Pierre, South Dakota.  She got her first job at 11 as a paper carrier and was only briefly unemployed in 7^th and 8^th grade when sports prevented her from delivering papers on time.  Suzi used to time herself on her paper route and was able to run a mile in 5:55 before age 12.  Although Ms. Stein saw her future as an Olympic runner, she soon changed her focus after finding out Olympic runners don’t get to eat a lot of ice cream or have much of a social life.

Ms. Stein worked at Threlkeld & Company Insurance Agency for almost 26 years. Suzi started her career as a part time file clerk while attending UT Tyler.  Over the years, she worked her way from file clerk to CFO/Shareholder/Director.  Along the way, Suzi also managed human resources and administration. She retired in 2018.

Ms. Stein consults part time with a business called Winning Edge Employment Services where she finds jobs for and coaches people with disabilities
