Senior Director of Marketing
Timothy Cairns is a Senior Director in Marketing at John Soules Foods. His main responsibilities include creative innovation, branding, development, packaging design, graphics, trade shows, presentations, advertising, or everything that touches the consumer and customers to build the brand and image. For the past 18 years, Tim has been an integral part of growing the John Soules Foods brand from $100 to $706 million in annual total sales for the retail, foodservice and school businesses. Prior to his current position, he has partnered with regional and national accounts lending his creative expertise and knowledge to building brands. He has a worked with a diversity of companies such as H-E-B, Safeway, Wells Fargo Bank, Kaiser Permanente, Microsoft, Otis, and Holland America to mention a few. Throughout his career he has won numerous awards in graphic and packaging design. Tim devoted his career to learn his clients’ companies, goals and brand position, then understanding the customer, and successfully communicating a story and message that resonates. With that approach, Tim’s success has been to build brands that consumers want. Landscape photography is a personal passion in which he is always searching for time to vacation at a location that would provide that perfect picture. He has a great respect for nature and preserving our state and national parks where he enjoys hiking. After 30 years, Tim is still enjoying every day and every adventure with his wife Cheri. He has two children and a grandchild. Like many people today, Tim attended several colleges and universities studying Architecture and Engineering before finding his calling for design at his alma mater Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA.
