I joined Edward Jones in 2017 following a distinguished career in the U.S. Army as an infantry officer (earning the coveted ranger tab) and a successful career in corporate America, where I worked for and with Fortune 500 companies at the director level. I was honored to complete my undergraduate studies at the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY, and received my Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.  Since moving back to East Texas, I have invested myself in the community by serving on and supporting multiple local non-profit organizations. I currently serve as President of the West Point Society of the Piney Woods, and Champions for Children. I serve on the United Way Allocations Committee and am a Major in the Texas State Guard where I serve as a Battalion Executive Officer. I am a graduate of Leadership Tyler Core Class 31, a four-year Catalyst 100 member, and former contributor to the LT Alumni Relations Committee. For the past four years I have served on the East Texas Field Force Team for West Point which vets and coaches local high school students for admission to the United States Military Academy. I belong to the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce, Tyler Rotary Club, and I am a member of Grace Community Church where I have served as usher and men’s small group leader.   Along with service to Country and Community, I am a proud husband, and father of two. Sandy, a native Tyler-ite, is an aesthetics clinic director. My son Chantz is a state champion football player, works at Hollytree Country Club, and is a personal trainer. And, my daughter Ally is a rising Senior and Student Regent at Baylor University.
